Championing the Prevention of Opioid Addiction

Through Education and Advocacy

The opioid epidemic continues to take lives, robbing us of our loved ones. The crisis is daunting and complex, leaving families and individuals feeling overwhelmed and helpless. The stories of healthy, thriving people being consumed by opioid addiction continue to grow. The struggles are more common than you think.

The problem lies not only in the general public. Many dental and medical teams are not fully educated about the dangers of opioid abuse and addiction. The predominant method of pain care has transitioned from managing pain to eliminating pain. We aim to educate prescribers and the public about the dangers of opioids, and stop addiction before it happens.

The money you donate to A Voice For Sean is spent on efforts to educate prescribers about the dangers of opioids, and stop addiction BEFORE it happens. Many dentists and other medical professionals are not educated about the dangers of abuse and addiction. It is our mission to educate them, and the public, about those dangers. To create 2-way conversations about addiction between doctors and patients, to end the stigma and judgment toward addicts, and to sponsor focused events.

Bringing various groups together, to enact real change!
